CRICKET EYES
The Cricket Eyes brand was started because I was sick of boring clothes and fast fashion. I began by making a series of lino prints with little creatures and spirits on. I printed these onto loose bits of recycled material and then sewed them onto old pieces of clothing. Sometimes, I would just print directly onto the clothes. The project allowed me to collaborate with three different photographers (Ava Marks, Izzy Offer and Lizzy Alster) and a range of models. All of the clothing and packs of patches were for sale under the idea that people would mend or up-cycle old and boring clothes rather than buy new ones. I later started selling the patches to raise some money for Yemen. I've gone onto make bandanas, re-usable wrapping paper and other miscellaneous items.
